Rafael Prado
Rafael Prado is a trilingual (English-Spanish-Italian) Florida-Bar licensed attorney, as well as an admitted attorney in Spain and Venezuela with proven expertise in international litigation and arbitration, corporate law, and public law. He is a strategic, effective, and thorough advisor on corporate strategies and implementation, settling transactional, operational, and regulatory matters for a broad range of organizations.
Prior to joining Osorio Internacional as a law clerk and then associate, Rafael worked as an attorney in major law firms in Spain and Venezuela, as well as in-house counsel for a multinational corporation based on Peru.
Rafael received his Juris Doctor degrees from Florida International University College of Law (Florida), Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Venezuela) and Universidad de Sevilla (Spain), and holds an LL.M. in Public Law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain), an LL.M in Corporate Law from IE Business School, and an LL.M in Telecommunications Law from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Spain).
While attending Florida International University College of Law, he was the Vice-President of the Student Bar Association, the President of the Hispanic Law Students Association, Member of the World Arbitration and Mediation Review (WAMR), Student Ambassador of the College of Law, and Member of the International Dispute Resolution Team that represented FIU Law at the XIII International Commercial Arbitration Competition (Moot Madrid).
